Simple Tool For Stress, Anxiety, or Panic
You suddenly get that overwhelming feeling, hearts beating faster, palms are sweating, stomach is turning, breath gets shallow, body is getting hotter, and feeling dizzy. You wonder, “Am I going to pass out?”
Go to your breath.
Inhale for 5
Feel the air entering your nostrils then flowing down your throat into your lungs and into your belly.
Exhale for 5
Now move the air in reverse, push all the air out from your belly and feel the air move in your mouth out through your lips.
It’s so simple yet most easily overlooked. Conscious breathing is a fundamental of mindfulness that help deepen awareness and greatly improve mental state and mood.
