The Search For Happiness

The Search for Happiness

Whatever shape or form it may be in, at the end of the day most all want to be happy, at peace, and enjoy life more. What if I told you what’s holding you back from that is not necessarily the situations or circumstances but it’s something you have complete control of, your mind.

Burnout, Struggling, & Stress

Experiences such as burnout, struggling, & stress take us away from being happy. We will all suffer in some form or another once or more times in our lives. Suffering is part of the human experience that allows us to grow. Some of the history’s greats were motivated by their suffering. However, we actually cause our own suffering and have the ability to unknowingly worsen it.
There’s suffering that help us grow and then there’s unnecessary suffering. When unnecessary suffering gets out of control it can cause things such as one to try to take their own life. Unnecessary suffering generally happens because there seems to be no solution, no support, no guidance, just trapped in our own minds of complete darkness and no light.

The Culprit

The mind is a powerful thing, sometimes operating like a separate entity. If you are not aware, it can completely rule your life and cause suffering. It makes you act from a place of fear. It’s where traits that cause us pain such as insecurity, resentment, superiority/inferiority, shame, jealousy are created. It creates thoughts, emotions, and beliefs typically based off our past experiences.
This is the ego.
How you start to find more joy and peace in life is to start disassociating from this ego, the mind created thoughts, emotions, and beliefs.
